Audio-Technica will host the UK launch of no less than four new products, first seen at ISE in February, at PLASA Focus: Leeds 2011. The ATCS-V60 is a new modular voting unit for Audio-Technica's well-received ATCS-60 infrared conferencing system. Its flexible design allows the unit to be added to existing ATCS-60 installations, while its cover plate and long connecting cable enable hidden voting in secret ballots.

When connected to the ATCS-M60 delegate unit, the ATCS-V60's can be programmed to allow up to five different voting options and up to 150 voters can be handled.

Harvey Roberts, Audio-Technica senior UK marketing manager said, "The ATCS-V60 delivers real benefits both in terms of cost and functionality to users of our ATCS-60 conferencing system. The fact that the module can be added at any time means a system can grow as needs change and budgets allow, and the design of the units provides users with a thoroughly secure, tidy solution to their voting requirements in conference situations."

Also new to the UK is the U855QL gooseneck microphone. Designed for use as a high-quality talk-back, paging and dispatch microphone in entertainment, commercial and industrial applications, the U855QL's versatile design allows for flexible positioning and dependable performance.

Audio-Technica's new BP893 MicroEarset omnidirectional condenser headworn microphone features an ergonomically moulded earpiece and unobtrusive one-inch boom, offering inconspicuous placement along with clear, consistent voice pickup. Its extended frequency response provides natural sound reproduction and its lightweight; low-profile design and ease of use make the microphone ideal for use in theatrical performances, houses of worship and broadcast studios.

Completing the quartet is the new BPHS1-XF4 communications headset, offering the benefits of the original BPHS-1 - comfort, ruggedness and versatility - while adding a 4-pin XLRF connector for use with intercoms systems. The BPHS1-XF4's user-replaceable 2m cable delivers unbalanced audio from the microphone and a mono signal to the headphones, and can be replaced with a 2-pin XLR cable for use in broadcast situations.
