Audioforce is a relatively new addition to the pro-audio distribution scene, yet has already made its mark with the Lab.gruppen range of products. This was an influential factor in the award of the contract to Guy Lewis and his Cambridge-based agency.
"Audioforce has shown us that they can dedicate themselves to a brand and get it right," says Vieta's export sales director Mick Brophy. "We recognise in them a team of professionals which will give our products the personal attention that they need. With so many new ideas pouring out of Vieta's R&D department, we wanted to find a partner who can match our creativity with careful, intelligent and diligent representation."
Joining forces for PLASA 08, Vieta and Audioforce will present new products that extend the functionality of the Ti Line suite of DIN rail-mounting products.
New and improved control software is being launched which will enhance an installer's control over a sound system constructed from Ti Line units. Vieta-Net Control (VNC) Software Version 2, which includes new features, a better user interface and an easier automatic set-up, allows a two-way communication between a variety of local control options and a PC-based master control of the media player and amplifiers, which can be connected directly, connected via a wireless network or connected remotely using the internet.
Local changes to settings on the Ti Line system can be made by any combination of IR remotes, wall switches and unit front panels. These changes will register on the remote PC which provides master control of the system, and can be overridden or amended as desired. In practice this means that a system installer can, over the internet, monitor any changes made to the system and reverse them. This control can be pro-active, for example finding and playing a particular track on the SD audio player.
Also arriving in the Ti Line range is the new version of the Ti-2602, a 100W RMS DIN-mounting transformer for Ti Line constant voltage operation.
