Marcelo Aravena, business manager of Fancy Music, part of the Audiomusica Group accepted the accolade at the Frankfurt ProLight & Sound earlier this year. "It's an honour for us to receive this award, and we are really proud to be part of the dBTechnologies family," he says. "We are very happy with the results we've achieved together. I'm not only talking about sales, but also the great teamwork between the two companies. This close rapport gave us a strong advantage when we entered the market."
Audiomusica's partnership with dBTechnologies began in July 2009, and since then annual sales of DVA T4 have been consistently in their hundreds. Aravena continues, "DVA T4 is a product which hits customers' expectations directly, and its quality-price ratio makes it very successful within the professional audio market. Certainly the benefits that this cabinet is able to give us make it stand out from direct competitors; the solidity of the components and the design reflecting customer needs places it as a very innovative product with great performance and excellent benefits."
With sales now into their third myriad, the DVA T4 continues to bring the line array concept, previously only available to high profile projects, down to an affordable level. A three way active line array with DSP controlled amplification, the DVA T4 is lightweight and flexible, and now can be configured with the easy-to-use software program, DVA Composer, available free from the company's website.
"Among our many projects is the important music, dance and theatre venue, Amanda Cultural Centre in Vitacura, which now has a full DVA system," adds Aravena. After considerable success in Chile, Audiomusica extended its coverage to include Bolivia and Peru. Since the launch of the larger line array module, DVA T12, the company has been working just has hard to ensure the T4's big brother is just as successful in the South American market.
dBTechnologies' business development manager, Giovanni Barbieri explains, "Audiomusica is more like extended family for dBTechnologies, as the company was our first official distributor in Latin America. With their help we have seen unbelievable expansion in the area. Armando Gotelli, founder, president and owner of the Audiomusica Group has believed in dB since the beginning, and we owe thanks to him, his dedicated product managers Cristian Gonzalez and Camilo Ramirez as well as the rest of the staff for their continued efforts."
