Sales director Steve Warren, says: "It's a great chance to catch up with all our existing theatre users, and also introduces us to lots of potential new clients."
Avolites products of particular interest for theatrical applications this year are the lighting consoles - particularly the Diamond 4 Elite, and the Pearl 2004. Also prominent will be the revolutionary eDMX wireless DMX data transmission system, and the ART 2000i installation dimmer, which is the fixed installation version of Avolites' ART 2000 digital dimming series.
Standard Avolites ART2000 touring racks are also a favourite with touring theatre shows, where tight schedules and the rigours of the road demand robust, reliable and well engineered equipment.
Avolites' eDMX transfers DMX data across a Wi-Fi radio link - removing the need for DMX cables. Each transmit/receive pair of eDMX units relays data for one DMX universe at full speed, with ranges of up to 1 Km. The National Theatre and Cadogan Hall have recently invested in extensive eDMX systems.
The ART2000i dimmer is aimed at theatrical, architectural, leisure and retail applications. Featuring the same high specification as other dimmers in the ART 2000 range, the ART2000i is currently available in modules of 24 x 16 Amp units or 12 x 32 Amp.
Avolites' Diamond 4 Elite lighting console is optimised for theatre and streamlined to offer the maximum power and functionality in the minimum physical space. The D4 Elite has 14 sub-masters and 96 assigned playbacks, with direct access to 96 fixtures or cues via the re-assignable Preset Playbacks. Electronic legending increases set up speed and allows the automatic configuration of a huge programming Palette. The National Theatre and Cadogan Hall also have Diamond 4 Elites.
