The Sapphire Touch is targeted for full production launch from PLASA 2011 along withV6 of Avolites' signature Titan operating system. As the next generation in the Titan brand it is equipped with the latest technology and numerous special features that make it fit for festivals, theatre and show touring. The Sapphire Touch harnesses the power of 45 motorised and automated faders, massive dual touch wide screens, tricolour tracker ball with Z axis control, plus the Avo 'Quicksketch' tool to create custom palettes.
Avolites' sales director Steve Warren says: "This year at Messe Frankfurt we are showing the production model of Titan Mobile and the latest prototype of the Sapphire Touch. We're taking the largest Avolites team to demonstrate the new version 5 Titan software; highlights of which include Pixel-mapping, MIDI control and additional language support."
Several of Avolites' other user-friendly control solutions will also feature, including the Tiger Touch, Pearl Expert Touch and Touch Wing, the company says.
