Avtek's director, Graham Lowen reports, "Pandoras Box stands out as a unit that approaches the marketplace from a video as opposed to lighting perspective. Coolux is an innovative company in the vanguard of creative product development, setting trends instead of following them. We feel that having the latest version of Pandoras Box will give us the edge in our ever more competitive market."
Avtek received their new Pandoras Box V5 Quad Server late in 2011, along with an AirScan interactive motion-sensor, and have already enjoyed high demand for the system, most recently for Georgian Day in Armagh, Northern Ireland. Celebrating the official beginning of the city's festive season, Avtek created and implemented spectacular 3D building projection displays, helping make this "the most visually dazzling Georgian Day in memory".
"It was great to be able to make live, real-time adjustments to the show, and this project barely scratched the surface of Pandoras Box capabilities," says Tony Lanigan, Avtek's operations director. "Prior to our purchase, we spent a number of months carefully evaluating various media server products; our choice of Pandoras Box is attributable to both its historic pedigree and future product roadmap. Georgian Day was our second event using the new coolux system and we could not be more delighted with our choice."
Avtek received comprehensive coolux support courtesy of TMB, coolux exclusive distributor in the UK, with TMB product specialist Erica Frost conducting onsite training tailored specifically for Avtek's requirements.
