UK - Specialist lighting and sound finance company Azule Finance has financed a £100,000 deal for Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA) to upgrade one of its theatre sound systems. His Majesty's Theatre Aberdeen, one of three theatres owned and run by APA, chose to invest in D&B speaker systems to bring high quality audio to the many comedy and West End shows it hosts. The company chose to provide swift and competitive finance to support this investment which represents a substantial strategic overhaul for the theatre.

As the biggest arts organisation in North Scotland, with a staff of over 250 people, APA manages the running of His Majesty's Theatre, The Musical Hall and The Lemon Tree. With a rich heritage in bringing in high profile shows - with comedy acts such as Jason Manford and Sean Lock as well as West End musicals like Ghost, Hairspray, and The Rocky Horror Show - His Majesty's theatre required a complete audio equipment overhaul to continue providing this high calibre of entertainment. After consulting with long-term hire partners Warehouse, APA worked with Azule Finance to invest in new D&B speakers, including line array, base, front fill and delay speakers for the auditorium, as well as six D12 amplifiers.

Jane Spiers, Chief Executive of Aberdeen Perfoming Arts commented: "Sound quality is a vital part of any live entertainment experience, so with a reputation for delivering prestigious acts, a high quality sound system is a critical investment for us. Working with Azule, we were able to quickly source the finance needed to upgrade to a new D&B sound system, and continue delivering exceptional live acts to our audiences."

Gavin Scott, Sales Director of Azule Finance commented on the investment: "To move quickly to upgrade its equipment with minimal disruption to its programme APA needed a swift finance solution that would support the move. By working with specialist sound supplier, the Warehouse, we were able to swiftly secure finance for the investment and enable an install that took only three days. Investing in D&B speakers and amplifiers also means that the theatre now has some of the highest quality sound kit available, allowing it to continue attracting big acts and big audiences."
