In addition to being nominated every year since the awards inception in 2001, this year's win marks the sixth time Bandit has been awarded the Parnelli and the 25th overall Lighting Company of the Year award for the company.
Bandit chair and founder Michael T. Strickland accepted the award at this year's event, where the touring industry's best and brightest were recognized, both on an individual and company scale.
"The team at Bandit Lites is humbled to again be recognized by our peers," said Strickland. "We strive every day to be the best that we can be and deliver the world class service our clients deserve. We wish to thank all of our clients for their faith in Bandit, and we promise to give them only the best. Thank you to Terry Lowe, Nook Schoenfeld and the team at PLSN for putting on this great event."
Strickland also credits the success of Bandit to its staff saying, "I personally want to also thank the best team in the business, the great people that make Bandit what it is: the staff. We also wish to thank all the phenomenal vendors for all of their support year in and year out. Without your cooperation, our job would be much more difficult! Now we move forward to get even better in the coming year. Bandit Lites never loses focus on the constant need to improve, that we can promise you."
