The Benum Group is one of the leading groups serving the pro-audio market in the region, with a notably strong reputation in Scandinavian theatre circles. Combining a portfolio of international brands such as Shure and Renkus-Heinz with system knowledge, system integration and first-class support, Benum provides a pan-Scandinavian service for TTA, covering the Norwegian market from its main location in Oslo, and the Danish and Swedish markets from newly-opened offices in Copenhagen and Stockholm.
Ronald Hernes of Benum says that his pro-audio team "has been monitoring the development of this technology for some years now; indeed one of TTA's most extensive system installations is at Trondheim's Tr°ndelag Theater here in Norway, where Stagetracker has already revolutionised the sound on shows like Les Miserables, and where five TTA FX Audio Editor systems are already in use. TTA's automatic tracking technique is the big step forward, and we are convinced that the new Stagetracker system will become a standard in the leading performance houses in our region."
Benum's confidence is underlined by receipt of two über-prestigious contracts from Scandinavia. In Norway, the new National Opera House which is being built in Oslo has ordered a TTA Stagetracker 16XR system complete with audio matrix and dual RadioEye detectors, accompanied by TTA's FX audio editing system. And in Copenhagen, the new Royal Danish Theatre has also ordered a TTA tracking system and is currently evaluating TTA's FX software.
