Vocia offers a high degree of scalability, from simple overhead paging applications to advanced paging systems spanning multiple zones and structures, says the company. With decentralized processing and page routing, Vocia's smart units use network technology to distribute intelligence - eliminating the potential for a single point of system failure. As the first US manufacturer to earn EN 54-16 certification, Biamp built Vocia from the ground up to meet the exacting requirements for Voice Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment (VACIE).
Vocia offers audio distribution over standard Cat 5/6/7 fibre networks and the internet, systems can be remote and connected for real time paging and evacuation. With a range of wall and table mounted microphone options and message storage and recording functions the system can be deployed in any size application.
Biamp will also be exhibiting its new RED-1F flush-mount remote control. The new RED-1F can be installed flush mounted into a wall box and offers a simple and intuitive interface for end users and can be installed and configured to fit the unique needs of a particular application. The device connects via standard Cat 5/6/7 cabling and is powered over Ethernet, eliminating the need for custom cabling and local power sources.
