"We've made significant progress in the last couple of years in upgrading our manufacturing facility and processes," said Lockhart, president, Biamp Systems. "We want this progress to continue in order to meet the demand for Biamp products. Given Roberts's impressive background and strong leadership abilities, we are certain that he is a good fit for this position."
A West Point Graduate, Yeager was the manufacturing manager for FEI, prior to joining Biamp Systems. In this role, he managed manufacturing operations of capital data storage and semiconductor equipment in an ISO class 6 clean room environment. Yeager also increased cross training within the company, established productivity metrics to gauge improvement impact and led a team in identifying customer upgrade issues. Before that, he held the position of manufacturing/program manager at Flextronics, Inc. where he was instrumental in improving yields, reducing costs and increasing overall productivity.
