The company was commissioned by the Yvonne Gray Dance School to revamp the flooring at its Cupar Studio
UK - Black Light has supplied a versatile new dance floor for one of Scotland's leading independent dance schools. The company was commissioned by the Yvonne Gray Dance School to revamp the flooring at its Cupar Studio and chose a Rosco Adagio floor for the job. The project was turned around on time and on budget - now hundreds of young (and not so young) Scottish dancers will be able to enjoy this wonderful new facility.

"Black Light have been so helpful in the process of selecting and installing our new dance floor covering. Their friendly advice and customer care has been second to none," says Yvonne Gray from the Dance School. "Our new Rosco Floor was delivered quickly, fitters found and fitting completed in a time that suited our needs."

To deliver this project, Black Light liaised with the client to clarify their needs and requirements. Once the project brief had been finalized, the company's sales team specified and procured the required products and oversaw the installation of the floor to ensure a high-quality finished product.

"We chose a Rosco Adagio system as this provided the perfect balance between cost and performance," explains Black Light's head of company development, Phil Haldane. "As an accredited distributor for Rosco products we had the expertise to specify and source the right flooring product for the dance studio."

As Rosco floors need specialist installation, Black Light found a local installer who could undertake the necessary thread welding work at the standard and cost required by the client. The project shows how Black Light can work with small and medium-sized companies to provide high quality and value for money.

The Yvonne Gray Dance School was established in 1989 and has gained a reputation as one of the finest schools in Scotland. The studio in Short Lane, Cupar, opened in 2004 and comprises two dance studios, changing facilities, a shop and a café area. Today the school has 3 branches and offers over 100 classes per week aimed at all ages and all abilities.
