LD Anthony Hall (“Turbo”) joins Blinding Light.
UK - Blinding Light Ltd has announced that industry-renowned lighting designer Anthony Hall ("Turbo") will be joining its team this April. The addition of Turbo to Blinding Light's team will help to enhance the company's already established in-house design capability to offer its clients a comprehensive service, says Blinding Light.

"2010 was a milestone year for Blinding Light," commented managing director, Patrick Stacey. "In August, as a result of the company's growth, we moved into brand new premises that met our requirements for increased warehouse and pre-production space to support the projects that we have been working on."

Turbo has over 25 years' of experience in the industry and has had a successful career working for a number of industry leading lighting design companies as well as operating as a freelancer. His recent projects include a number of high profile events including lighting the BBC's Proms in the Park for the 9th consecutive year.

"I asked Blinding Light to work with me on this year's Proms in the Park event which also included lighting for Sunday mass with the Pope," commented Hall. "I was really impressed with Blinding Light, it was the first time I'd worked with the company, their attention to detail and commitment to supply exactly what was asked for made it "very easy" for myself and the team on site."

Over the years, Turbo has built a concrete industry reputation, the foundations of which were built at Key Light, where he was in charge of dimming & control systems, enabling him to witness the developing industry from back stage. Throughout his extensive career, Turbo has expanded his technical knowledge of lighting systems and design skills through a variety of projects in the live events industry. This experience led Turbo to be one of the co-founding directors of Essential Design in 1993, where he continued set the industry alight with innovative lighting designs until February of 2010.

"We are really excited to welcome Turbo to the Blinding Light team, I have had the pleasure of working with Turbo as a freelancer earlier on in our careers and have always been impressed with his creativity and work ethic both of which are valuable assets that will facilitate the future growth of Blinding Light," concluded Stacey.
