"Customer care and health & safety are paramount at Blitz. We needed a label that would help anyone handling the equipment to visually identify if the case was safe to manually lift or would require assistance. Most importantly of all, the label shouldn't come off without a fight!" says David Watchorn of Blitz.
"All road cases get a rough ride in this industry, so any label that is capable of withstanding the constant transportation and industry standard 'rough handling' needed to be something special. We've used Le Mark's PAL road case labels for many years and know from experience that no matter the environment you throw at them or how often they're sent out on a job, they always come back still attached to the case and with any written notes clearly visible."
Watchom continues, "It was one of our best clients who originally came to us with the request. They wanted to make their staff more aware of the weight of the equipment, minimising any injuries or accidents. We worked with them to create a three-colour warning system - Green; identifying the case weighed less than 15kg, Yellow 15-25kg and Red 25kg or more. Most people know their own physical safety limits and understand what can be lifted and what would need a team effort. That's why the colour coding works so well."
