According to Bosch, it's like having a skilled sound engineer permanently built into the unit. None of the participants will notice the sound adjustments - they simply benefit from howl-free sound whether speaking in a soft or a loud voice, with the same clarity and distinction for listeners. The CCS 800 Ultro is ideal for conferences in hotels, training centres or schools, meetings in agencies or government administrations, board meetings in industry or congresses.
In its basic form, the CCS 800 Ultro discussion system handles up to 50 delegate units, but Bosch also offers enhanced solutions for up to 150 delegate units. In addition, every unit of the CCS 800 Ultro has a double socket for two separate headphones allowing two delegates to share a unit using a single microphone on a long flexible stem - effectively doubling the number of simultaneous participants at a conference without any inconvenience.Up to four microphones can be 'live' at any time for group discussions with priority automatically given to microphones actually used by a speaker - unused microphones are automatically muted. Other useful options include recording and playback of discussions and feeding in of audio signals from other sources - e.g. external contributions, recorded material etc.
All signals transmitted by the CCS 800 Ultro are carried by a single cable which also supplies power to all the units. This allows quick installation, setting up and dismantling of the discussion system making it ideal for temporary or hire applications while providing a high level of integration and speech quality. Other equipment like interpretation and language distribution systems or public address systems can be easily added to the CCS 800 Ultro, including roving microphones for guest speakers or for contributions from the floor. By interfacing with a video conferencing system, it is also easy to bring in remote delegates from afar - reducing travelling and time.
