The PM8250, PM4500 and PM4250 will be available from June 2013
USA - Bose Professional builds on its proprietary PowerMatch amplifier technology platform with three additional models of configurable professional power amplifiers. Based on decades of research across multiple industries, Bose engineers optimized audio performance with a robust Class-D amplifier and power supply design that together are capable of maintaining top performance even with unexpected variations in AC line voltage, rack temperature, and output load conditions, says the company.

Configurable through the use of QuadBridge technology, each amplifier is capable of combining 2 or 4 output channels, creating flexible options to drive different power levels and loudspeaker impedances.

"Building off customer feedback we've received during our first 18 months with the PM8500, we developed three new models with different channel and power levels-all leveraging the same great performance, efficiency, and reliability of the acclaimed PM8500," said Kyle Sullivan, product line manager for Bose Pro Electronics. "Sound contractors and system integrators can now choose from four highly configurable models to cover the majority of their amp requirements for fixed installations ranging from demanding venues such as performing arts centres and sports arenas to high-end commercial installations including retail and hospitality locations."

The full PowerMatch amplifier line now includes the following models: PM8500 (eight channels, 4000 watts total rated power); PM8250 (eight channels, 2000 watts total rated power); PM4500 (four channels, 2000 watts total rated power) and PM4250 (4 channels, 1000 watts total rated power.)

Network versions (PM8500N, PM8250N, PM4500N, PM4250N) are also available for each model, which enable control and monitoring over standard Ethernet networks.
