The CDS-200 microphone management, which is integrated with a 16-channel interpretation system, allows board members to listen to the proceedings, vote, and use their authenticating chip-cards. The standard TM55 microphone was modified to a length of 500mm to allow for even better audio quality. Information conveyed by the system, such as voting results, a list of speakers, and the location of the person speaking, can also be seen on the individual LCD units. In addition, output by video, DVD and laptop XGA is displayed on the LCD units.
Systems’ control is provided by the new CDS-200-SW. Besides the standard functions of name handling, microphone management, voting control and news transmission, the inclusion of dual-screen and multi export functions enhance the system, while a selective configuration program permits the user to minimize functions and to select work-related and individual requirements.
Teleconferencing is supported by Gentner’s Telefonhybrid GT-1524 system. System configuration includes sufficient channels for video-conferencing and internet-live transmissions. Brähler’s state-of-the-art CDS-VAN audio network was installed throughout. Mixing desks permit sound management enhanced acoustics. The client’s press centre, based mainly on an analogue AR system, permits audio transmission from the interpretation system’s two-person DOL7/2E interpreter’s console to the audience. Fitted CDS-200 microphone units complement the seating, desk layout and requirements of the press centre.
