UK - As the summer music festival season reaches its peak, PA company Britannia Row Productions is right in the middle of a hectic schedule of arena tours and concerts that are taking place around the UK. And at every venue, one part of the equipment specification remains a constant - Van Damme cable, supplied by cable specialist VDC Trading.

In recent weeks, Britannia Row has taken delivery of various cable assemblies specially manufactured for use with the company's L-Acoustics V-Dosc line array speaker systems. VDC has also made a number of custom stage boxes and supplied microphone leads and reeled stock marked with Britannia Row's unique labelling and bar code system as well as quantities of reeled stock.

"VDC consistently carry a big stock of Van Damme cable and can produce and supply large quantities of high quality cables and wired products to us on time and often at very short notice," says Britannia Row director Mike Lowe. The list of artists that Britannia Row is touring with this summer reads like a Who's Who of the current rock and pop scene. Among them are Robbie Williams, Depeche Mode, Jamiroquai; The Foo Fighters, Robert Plant, David Gilmour, Simply Red, Hard Fi, The Streets, Faithless, Bryan Adams and Hilary Duff.

On the festival circuit, Britannia Row has already completed the O2 Wireless Festival in London's Hyde Park, BBC Radio One's One Big Weekend, Hyde Park Calling, the Summer Series at Somerset House, Lovebox Weekender and Dock Rock and will soon be undertaking Metro Weekender.
