A Talk on Live Sound Industry - one day - An overview and insight into what the Live Sound Industry is all about and how it works.
Live Sound Basic two-day PA Course - Learn how to jump onto a small P.A. This two-day course is suitable for anyone who needs or wants to do this and is not entirely sure how to go about it - from the person working with their friend's band, to the teacher who needs to get the PA system out of the cupboard a couple of times a year and make it work for the school panto and prize-giving day.
On the two-day course taught over two consecutive Saturday or Sunday, you will be taken through a simple P.A, System from A-Z in the first day and a half. The last afternoon is spent on practical hands-on practice including mixing using multi-track playback machines.
This short course is designed to help you set up a small P.A. system, use microphones, mix the sound and monitors from the same 'Front of House' digital mixing console and carry out basic fault-finding. It does not go deeply into the internal components of a system. It is about the basics of getting one going and driving it.

It is designed to take participant from entry through to professional levels.
As with the Live Sound Fundamentals Course, the Intermediate Course is taught over fifteen 1 Day Sessions on consecutive Saturdays or Sundays. Each session can be taken as an individual stand-alone module for those wanting to brush-up on a particular subject, but to get the best from this course it is recommended that the whole course is taken.
