Training sessions are also available for Yamaha, Avid, DiGiCo and Midas digital consoles. Following the success of the first wave of one-day sessions taken up by a number of people from the UK and abroad, BRPT has expanded its offering to include packages such as System Analysis and Optimisation comprising of two tuition days plus a practical workshop, and a three-day package on Sound for Corporate Events, Theatre and Classical Music.
The range of topics also includes fundamental topics from the earlier stages of BRPT's Live Sound Technology course, such as Analogue Consoles, EQ and Dynamics & Effects. The full range of topics offered is available for perusal and booking through training.britanniarow.com/booking
Participants join BRPT's Live Sound Technology course for the selected topics and receive accompanying material for the session. As with all of the training provided by BRPT, these sessions are entirely focused on professional live sound and practical applications.
The training sessions provide live sound technicians and engineers with an effective opportunity to refresh and expand skills for continuing professional development.
Managing director Matthias Postel comments, "This is a great chance to improve skills for those who are already in the industry and who either do not need or are unable to attend a comprehensive training course. We have had people attending sessions over the past few months who came with very specific requirements for training in order to fill gaps. We now continue offering these in order to help others advance their live sound career."
The one-day training session initiative complements BRPT's 12-week Live Sound Technology course which provides a complete training programme for entry into the live sound industry. The growing track record of graduates includes work for a range of sound companies and with top artists, such as Florence and the Machine, Limp Bizkit, The Libertines, Prince & 3rdeyegirl and The Prodigy.
