As part of the refurbishment, the hotel brought in Bose Pro Partner, Apple Sound, to upgrade and enhance the AV in the Carden Suite. The self-contained Carden Suite, which has its own entrance and car park, can accommodate up to 400 delegates and continues to complement the existing 11 conference rooms and dedicated business centre, all supported by highly trained event and conference organisers.
In addition to nine 60" plasma screens, Apple Sound installed a Bose sound system, consisting of a Bose ControlSpace ESP-88 audio management system, and Bose Panaray 502As loudspeakers with bass support from Panaray MB4s, to provide both background and foreground sound for corporate events and PA for conferences.
Commenting on the refurbishment, Carden Park's general manager, Hamish Ferguson said, "This substantial investment puts us in an enviable position to take advantage of the economic upturn and demonstrates our confidence in the market. Despite a difficult 12 months in many areas of the industry we have been seeing a positive increase in business enquiries. Carden Park is a much sought after conferencing and business destination, and enjoys a fantastic reputation. It's vital that we continue to evolve and upgrade offering businesses and delegates the best service and facilities in the North West."
He added, "The service that we received from Bose Pro Partner, Apple Sound, was second to none, and the client feedback has been very encouraging with new business confirmed as well as repeat business. In addition the investment and the new technology from Bose assisted in Carden Park winning for the second year running the ' Excellence in Business Tourism 2010' awarded by Visit Chester & Cheshire."
