Germany - ChainMaster is adding new production, presentation and training facilities to its premises in Eilenburg. The new buildings are needed to keep pace with the expanding worldwide demand for ChainMaster products whilst maintaining the shortest possible lead times.

The first phase of the project, which will see the production area expanding by a further 350sq.m, began on 3 November. The shell of the building should be in place by the end of the year; the scheduled completion date is the 31 March 2009. During this phase, eight new jobs are being created and two new test beds, each with a well 6.5 metres deep, installed.

The second phase of construction will begin in the spring. When complete, it will add a further 400sq.m to the production and presentation areas. During this phase, a training facility will also be created, which will provide a realistic environment for participants in training courses. The planned completion date for this phase of the project is the thirdquarter of 2009.
