Chauvet Professional previewed several products to be launched at next month's LDI in Las Vegas.
UK - At PLASA London 2014, Chauvet Professional previewed several products to be launched at next month's LDI in Las Vegas, including two new Rogue Wash fixtures, an addition to the COLORado family and a house light from the Ovation line. The show also marked the European debut of a selection of exciting fixtures including the Next NXT-1 moving head LED display and the ÉPIX Tile 2.0.

Making their international debut at the show were two new additions to the successful Rogue family, the R1 Wash and R2 Wash. The Rogue R1 Wash is a powerful wash unit with smooth colour blending and zone-segmented LED control for stunning visual effects. A versatile and bright LED wash, it is "guaranteed to give you the coverage you need at the speed you require". The Rogue R1 Wash features smooth pan and tilt operation, a 3° to 34° zoom range that gives you the spread to cover the gamut of entertainment genres, and a lens system that gives you an even, professionally combined wash of colour.

Rogue R2 Wash features smooth pan and tilt operation, a 8° to 30° zoom range that gives you the spread to cover the gamut of entertainment genres, and a lens system that gives you an even, professionally combined wash of colour. Rogue R2 Wash is tough, durable, and ready for rental and production inventories.

The new H-105WW LED house light from the Ovation line features COB LED technology for flat, even, and flattering fields of light. It comes, as standard, with interchangeable lenses for adjustments for differing heights, 5-pin DMX and install terminals for permanent and temporary installations, and is a silent LED fixture.

Also previewed at the show was the COLORado 1-Quad Zoom Tour, a compact, tour-ready wash light featuring seven bright quad-colour (RGBW) LEDs, giving the user a bright beam with zoom for versatile usage in the studio, on set, or on the road.

European product launches included the Next NXT-1 moving head LED display - a pixel-mapping panel with 25 quad-colour RGBW LEDs. The NXT-1 combines fast pan/tilt movement with a tight 6° beam angle from each pixel to create brilliant in-motion "eye candy" displays that mesmerise audiences at live productions of all types. The innovative ÉPIX Tile 2.0, from the acclaimed ÉPIX series, caught the eye of many visitors thanks to its user-friendliness; this fixture can be set up and configured in minutes with little technical expertise, making it easy for lighting professionals to add high-quality pixel-mapping content to their designs.

In addition to its stand presence at the show, Chauvet Professional was proud to be a sponsor of the Theatres Trust TheatreStage at PLASA London. TheatreStage provided a focus on the show floor for visitors and the theatre industry to network and learn about projects, initiatives, campaigns and organisations connected to the theatre sector.

Michael Brooksbank, general manager of Chauvet Europe, comments: "The quality of UK visitors was good and we received some very noteworthy enquiries. Also, we were really pleased to be able to give visitors a preview of new products that will be launched at LDI next month. For us, the highlights were our Rogue series of fixtures, including the new wash units, and the new Next NXT-1 moving head LED panel, all of which generated overwhelmingly positive responses."
