In collaboration with Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT) and Lord Cultural Resources of Toronto, who was selected to develop, design and implement the Canadian Pavilion, Christie's projectors promote Canadian tourism and showed 2010 FIFA World Cup matches in High Definition on 30' and 16' screens.
Christie's MicroTiles modular display technology is a focal point at the Pavilion, presenting visuals to showcase Canada as a modern and innovative country. With its simple building block design, 75 Christie MicroTiles, configured three building shapes to create a Cityscape facade, display high resolution video to assist media with story development about Canada.
"We are happy to support DFAIT and Lord Cultural Resources with our latest display technology to help showcase Canada's many strengths and create an enjoyable oasis for media," comments Gerry Remers, president and COO, Christie Digital Systems Canada. "At Christie, our innovations are driven by a constant focus on providing exceptional image quality - to entertain, engage and embrace the world through visual communication."
