France - Technical partner for the fourth year in a row, Christie will be responsible for all digital projection at the 63rd Cannes International Film Festival for the complete Official Selection, Out of Competition and Marché du Film elements.

As technical partner, Christie will supply new DLP Cinema digital projectors for the projection of major works throughout the Festival. Of the 22 digitally equipped theatres that the Festival now has at its disposal, 11 of them are equipped with the new range of Christie Solaria projectors - the CP2220 and the CP2230.

"After three successful years alongside our partner XDC, we have signed a three-year agreement with the Cannes Film Festival. This agreement covers the provision of technical and logistical aspects of 2D and 3D digital projection and is proof of the trust and respect that cinema professionals have for Christie," says Pascal Gervais, director of development for Christie, France.
