The Roadie HD35K from Christie – billed as “the world's brightest projector” – is on show at the Siel Satis exhibition in Paris.
France - Christie is giving the French debut at Siel Satis in Paris (19-22 October) to its Roadie HD+35K - "the world's brightest projector". Nominated for the Trophées 2009 Siel Satis in the 'event' category, this new addition to the Christie Roadie family of projectors produces 35,000 centre lumens (32,500 ANSI lumens) and features Christie's unique, flexible split-body design with separate lamp ballast.

The Christie Roadie HD+35K is the flagship product in Christie's three-chip DLP line, with native 2048x1080 HD resolution and 10-bit image processing. "There is no comparison in terms of resolution, brightness and performance," says George Tsintzouras, director of product management at Christie.

The Christie Roadie HD+35K is built for the road: it sets up quickly and easily and is tough enough to withstand frequent installs. New to this model is a motorised lens mount. "The Christie Roadie HD+35K features a new motorised lens mount, making it even more installation-friendly," notes Tsintzouras. "This new addition enables users to focus and adjust the projected image position with a remote control from the floor; a very welcome improvement to our award-winning Christie Roadie projector line."

In addition, a lens conversion kit is available, allowing users to motorise their existing Christie Roadie lenses so that they are compatible with the new Christie Roadie HD+35K. A factory service upgrade is also available to add the new motorisation lens mount to the Christie Roadie HD+30K projector. These upgrade options enable owners to benefit from the motorised lens mount while protecting their investment in projectors and lenses.

The feature-rich Christie Roadie HD+35K offers many additional product benefits including user-replaceable lamps that can be automatically aligned at the push of a button; user-friendly controls to ensure easy maintenance and servicing; built-in body handles for handling and rigging; and optional features such as 'Christie Twist' to enable warping and blending of curved displays, and Christie AutoStack - a software-driven, camera-based system which works in conjunction with Christie Twist to stack and blend images through the software interface instead of relying on manual alignments.

Christie also recently introduced a new three-year warranty on all its three-chip DLP products. "Customers will be pleased to learn that the Christie Roadie HD+35K is included in the three-year warranty program, adding even more value without additional cost," says Tsintzouras.

The Christie Roadie HD+35K can also be found on the Christie stand (C28), Hall 7.3.
