Other shows featured artists such as Spagna, Scialpi, Yu Yu, Los Locos, Moony, La Finn, Andrea Mingardi, Roberto Angelini, Paolo Meneguzzi, Velvet - and even cycling champion Gilberto Simoni, winner of the 2003 Italian Tour (Giro d'Italia). Over 200,000 people were estimated to have attended over the 13 dates of the Festival Show 2003.
Lighting designer and owner of Xenon service, Renato Neri, in collaboration with Pietro Tondello, designed and supplied all the equipment for the temporary stage. The structure featured two front ramps to the stage, providing access for a car and two 9m speaker towers powered by 30,000W of amplification. Stage lighting comprised more than 20 Super Scan Zoom 1200s, eight Astroscan 1200s and 15 CP Color 250s, with two Visa power units providing the 500kW power supply. All the performances were transmitted live on Radio Birkina and Radio Bella & Monella in addition to being broadcast on national television.
Paolo Baruzzo, Radio Birikina and Radio Bella & Monella's coordinator, said: "Our event has grown incredibly over the years: the experience we have acquired has allowed us to organize materials, the dates and areas in an increasingly professional way. This is also due to the participation of top level technical and artistic partners such as Clay Paky."
In addition, funds were raised for the Padua City of Hope, a centre for children suffering from leukaemia, in all 29,390.30 was donated by the public over the 13 Festival Show dates.
