Tent Event of Freiburg looked after the setting up of the light system. As well as the Alphas, Clay Paky's Stage Color 1200s, Stage Zoom 1200s, Golden Scan HPEs and Stage Scans were also used to create the ambience for the evening, providing an extensive range of effects. The Alpha projectors, here receiving their German debut, proved very bright, with their combination of a 575W discharge lamp and the company's latest generation optical system, while its 10°-40° linear electronic zoom and electronic focusing, CMY colour mixing and seven-colour wheel, linear CTO, three gobo wheels and animation disc offered a wide variety of effects.
The Alpha Wash has a zoom that allows the beam to be opened from 4° up to 80°, allowing even colour diffusion, even with close-up projections, say Clay Paky. The fixtures offer CMY colour mixing, colour wheel, linear CTO, linear frost and a 0-100% dimmer of new conception.
