AG Light & Sound supplied 24 Clay Paky Alpha Beam 1500 fixtures used by lighting designer Stephen Lieberman. The fixtures were spread over a 60m stage span. The fixtures that weren't under the protection of the main roof were covered with custom inflatable bubble domes. The rest of the stage was a towering back wall of high resolution video screens accompanied by lasers, fog machines and special effects to pulse with the high energy music. AG provided lighting and video for the main stage as well as video and some rigging for four other stages, making this year's Ultrafest something to remember.
The twelfth edition of this festival proved to be the most elaborate production to date. The event returned to Downtown Miami's oceanfront Bicentennial Park for two days and two nights. There were 16 stages set over two days, featuring more than 200 DJs, bands and producers. More than 100,000 international music enthusiasts were in attendance for this historic event.
Andrew Gumper, president of AG Light & Sound reports, "The Alpha Beam 1500's were used to create a really big beamy look to the show. The fixtures were spread over 200ft wide and had an amazing impact alongside the enormous video backwall. The Alpha Beams performed flawlessly and looked great."
