Clear-Com’s virtual Station-IC now available
- Details
Station-IC allows LQ users to assign up to 24 Channels with individual talk and listen keys and level control as well as optional Call signal, LQ Network Control Events and Remote Mic Kill keys for the individual channel.
Stations-IC's Flexible application window can be scaled to the Desktop while the Compact Mode allows users to access their most important keys for the minimum space. Incoming Call signals are shown on a dedicated Reply key and in the Notifications of the Mac or Windows Operating System
Clear-Com offers Station-IC Event and Subscription licenses to better meet the needs of a broad range of applications. For production companies who need to ramp up their intercom instances for a one-off event or other users who need intercom capabilities for a shorter amount of time, the Event license is a cost-effective and flexible solution available in one-week or one-month increments. For Broadcast studios, theatres, and other users who will be using Station-IC as part of their everyday workflow, the annual Subscription license offers a lower cost-per-day and the ability to be transferred between computers as needed.
“So many of our users have fully embraced the versatility of the LQ Series of IP Interfaces, and we are pleased to be able to offer the Station-IC software to what has grown into a very substantial user base,” remarks Kari Eythorsson, product manager for Clear-Com. “We look forward to seeing the many ways in which our user community will implement Station-IC now that it’s available for LQ.”
Station-IC is available to download and try in demo mode from the Clear-Com website.
* Also just released by Clear-Com is the CC-28 lightweight headset, designed for ‘exceptional comfort and ease of use and features best-in-class enhanced audio quality with a frequency response up to 14kHz’.
The CC-28 features a 4-pin XLR connector and is a lightweight, single-ear headset with an over-the-head design and a flexible gooseneck microphone. The headset’s dynamic microphone can be muted by moving the microphone boom; rotating it up will mute the microphone while rotating down in front of the mouth will un-mute the microphone. The CC-28 is the functional replacement of the CC-26k lightweight headset.
“We think the new CC-28 will be a very popular headset, and we are pleased that users are already seeing (and hearing) the improvements we’ve incorporated using their feedback from the CC-26k,” says senior product manager, Stephen Sandford. “Customer feedback is the driving force behind all of our innovations.”
