Thailand - Universo Ferrari, an immersive exhibition showcasing the world of Ferrari cars, took place in Bangkok late last year. The event, which took place at UOB Live, Emsphere, showcased more than 20 models and offered Ferrari enthusiasts in Thailand an up-close and personal experience of limited editions, legendary classics, and the very latest F80, the most powerful road car to emerge from the Ferrari factory.
The exhibition was divided into a number of zones which featured different elements of the Ferrari story. It was important that the event audio matched the visual presentation, and Coda Audio was the preferred choice.
Audio rental and installation specialist, and Coda’s distributor in Thailand, Modern Solutions Plus, worked to support its client Perfect Duck, who had the agreement of Ferrari HQ to switch from its original rider choice of loudspeaker to Coda Audio following the supplier’s strong recommendation. Modern Solutions Plus designed systems for the event and supplemented Perfect Duck’s Coda inventory to ensure every zone was fully covered.
The systems were installed across four days leading up to the event and needed to cater for powerful background music, as well as live and recorded speech presentation and sound effects.
Loudspeakers from across CODA Audio’s ranges were chosen to suit the specific requirements of each zone and were drawn from D-5 Cube, HOPS (5, 7, 8 and 12), G-Series (512, 712 and G18-Sub) and Cue Four stage monitors. The systems were driven by a combination of Coda Audio’s Linus amplifiers.
A separate Coda Audio system comprising eight Coda Audio ViRAY line array units and four SC2-F subwoofers, driven by LINUS14 amplifiers, catered for the event’s gala dinner.
