Robe products are already well known to many moving light users and installers as they have been a prolific OEM supplier over the past five years. Robe has now decided to sell direct, and Coe-tech is an integral part of the direct dealership network. Robe is launching a complete new series at PLASA - the Advanced technology (AT) series. PLASA 2002 also sees the launch of Studio Due’s new XS (Excess) series of moving heads - the XS 600 and the XS700. The XS fixtures combine a massive number of features and a host of accessories and effects, designed to impress all types of LDs from those working on live shows to those engaged in television lighting. It contain five wheels for gobos and colours - an innovative and different colour wheel that includes five colours, white and selectable bi-coloured beams and rainbow effects; a correction filters wheel, two wheels for rotating gobos - plus the classic colour wheel. There’s also a special wheel for glass gobos. The XS700 uses a powerful Osram 700W HTI, discharge lamp, whilst the XS600 and the XS600 with electronic zoom use an HMP 575 DE or HMI 575 600W HMP light-source.
In addition to these new luminaires, Studio Due will be showing the full range of weatherized and architectural fixtures including City Colors, City Beams and Mini Citys, plus extensive stocks of the company’s club and effects lighting.
