At PLASA 2001, the Coe Tech stand will include the latest launches from top Italian brands Coemar, TAS, and Travel Show, as well as Futurelight from Germany, Poly Optic products from Australia, and smart neon controllers from Fluid Neon Technologies in California.

Coe-tech is launching the Coemar I-Spot 150 at the show, a luminaire for bar, pub, café, restaurant, club, retail and other leisure markets. The I-Spot 150 features an 150W CDM SA/T short arc lightsource, 530° pan and 284° tilt, six interchangeable rotating gobos, seven colours, motorised focusing, strobe effect, sound-to-light mode, master/slave operation and hugely efficient light output for the size of fixture/lightsource. Also on show will be the Coemar CF7 HEX - the latest addition to Coemar’s award-winning hard-edged CF7 range of luminaires. The HEX (hard-edged) version features enhanced optics with a 30% brightness increase, 21-channel mode for even more precise movement and a glass front lens to filter incoming smoke, dust and other potentially troublesome environmental elements. All CF7 features can now be made into the HEX model (if required) with a new retrofit kit. Other Coemar products on the stand include the Coemar Supercyc 2.4. – the first CMY cyc light offering 425° pan and 212° tilt movement, and the Coemar Panorama Cyc Power - a highly flexible CYM cyc floodlight designed for exterior use. Both units utilize Coemar’s Twin Lamp Technology (TLT), a unique optical system that dramatically multiplies the luminous output while minimising power consumption.

New from TAS is the versatile, cost-effective TAS range of moving heads and effects lighting will also be in action on the Coe-tech stand. In particular, the TAS ProSpot 250, ProWash 250 and TAS Millennium Range will be very much in evidence. From Futurelight, meanwhile, is the new Exterlight, a high quality outdoor 250/200W MSD IP65-rated washlight with CYM colour-mixing for architectural/landscape and theatrical applications. The Exterlight also features smooth full-field dimming and an infra red control function.

From Travel Show, Coe-tech is launching the PR.com projector system, the latest innovative product from this Italian manufacturer. The PR.com is perfect for a variety of applications including retail/point-of-sale, museums, attractions, heritage centres, product launches, bars, restaurants, clubs and any situation requiring bright, colourful, eye-catching branding via image and logo projection. The PR.com system comprises two small projectors. The PR 5.2 is an effects projector using 200W or a 250W HSD light source and the PR.com 3.1 utilises a 250W 24v halogen lightsource. The PR 5.2 is a versatile multi-functional device offering bright, sharp images up to 10m from the source.

Coe-tech also shows its versatile range of Poly Optics fibre optics (from Australia) and Fluid Light Technologies flow neon from California. Coe-tech has recently supplied Harpenden-based installation and AV company Promedia Systems, with 1200 metres of Poly Optic ‘Polybright’ side-emitting fibre as phase one of a large architectural lighting scheme for the exciting Millennium Point project in Birmingham, scheduled to open in September.
