The systems were designed and installed by leading Canadian providers White Radio, with audio based around loudspeakers from Chester, Pennsylvania-based Community Loudspeakers. A centre cluster of three IFR77B three-way cabinets and two ISS118B subwoofers is augmented by left and right clusters of IFR34SB and IFR64SB three-way systems. Rear delay is covered by five more IFR64SB systems, with additional front-fill provided by six Community STS26B two-way boxes. A pair of ILF218B subs is installed under the stairs for extra bottom end.
"The sanctuary is a very wide room, and a traditional centre cluster alone would not have provided adequate coverage," explains White Radio's Jerry Placken. "Using the Community systems in a three-cluster configuration not only gave us the coverage pattern we wanted to achieve, but was the ideal solution in terms of audio performance as well. The IFR cabinets provide an exceptional degree of intelligibility for spoken word, while also delivering the level of fidelity we wanted for their musical programme material."
The system is powered by a total of 29 Crest CA-series amplifiers, with speaker processing and other DSP handled by a pair of Biamp AudiaFLEX units. Shure UHF systems and wired mics cover most of the stage duties, along with additional wired mics from Audio Technica and Audix, while Aviom personal monitor systems take care of the players on stage. TC Electronic M-300 and M-3000 processors handle reverb and other signal processing, with dynamics courtesy of PreSonus and BSS.
