The Chinese national pavilion is the largest and tallest of its kind at the Expo. Compulite's Vectors are used in the China Pavilion section called Wisdom journey.
To facilitate the Urban Being's pavilion lighting and sound Shanghai Yongjia chose to control the lighting (accompanied with sound and video synchronization) utilizing Compulite's Vector console. The Vector console and the sound system receive MIDI signal from a Medialon system achieving synchronous play of light, sound and video. The lighting system of the Urban Being Pavilion was programmed and operated by King Chou from Guangzhou Coemar (Compulite's distributor in China) and the supplier for the Vector consoles for 2010 Expo.
Compulite's Vector red and Vector PC are used to programme the City Being pavilion. The LEDS in the light boxes were controlled by King Chou using Compulite's Vector. "Vector with its 16 DMX output, fast cue modification/delete functions and unmatched performance was perfect to create many different changing scenes perfectly expressing the city themes." said King Chou.
The study hall in the City Being pavilion shows a bookshelf circled by numerous small lights "turned on layer by layer by the Vector Red signifying the long road of study," said King Chou. He added: "I like Vector. Not only because its control ability, ergonomic design, but also due to its multimedia functions and powerful DMX output. It is easy to operate, and the system is very stable."
