Danny Schurer, company director at Concept Audio, comments, "Having worked with most digital desks on the market, we felt that the Allen & Heath was the best value for money whilst being the most intuitive to use in the environments we were going to employ it in."
Currently providing technical production for the Warner's 2010 Strictly Come Dancing tour,
Concept Audio are using the iLive for this as well as various other projects during tour breaks, including the upcoming Madehurst Festival in Sussex. Martin Daley, sales manager at Allen & Heath, who visited Concept Audio personally to demo the iLive comments, "Danny and the team responded enthusiastically. They could perceive iLive as a great asset to their hire stock, and it's great to see it's already out on the road."
Describing performance and feedback on the iLive, Schurer says, "We love the sound of the head amps and ease of use of this desk. It's very easy to learn from scratch and overall feedback has been very positive. We have been hosting training days whilst on tour, and have had some excellent responses from technicians not normally used to a digital environment."
Advised on the console by Steve King, sales manager at LMC Audio, Schurer comments, "I find Steve a pleasure to deal with as his personal experience and knowledge in the industry is always well received when making brand choices." On his relationship with LMC he notes, "I personally have been dealing with LMC for years in various capacities, and Concept Audio has had a trading relationship for the last two years. We have always found LMC to go over and above the call of duty to make the challenges we present them with happen."
