With background music during the day, lounge levels at night and DJ sessions during weekends, the lounge required a sound system that delivers well at background level, but still provides convincing dynamics and involvement when pushed by the DJ's.
A lot of work went in to the visual design and ambience of the venue and the sound system. In order not to compromise the clean visual impression, four aluminium finished Cornered C6TRM boxes were discreetly installed horizontally in the corner between ceiling and walls. Crossed at 80 Hz, the top-boxes only call for a minimum of sub bass support and a customised 8" active sub was installed for that purpose.
Restaurant director Maj Toppenberg states:" We needed a sound system that delivers in terms of sound quality and output, without stealing the picture so to speak. With the speaker system from Cornered, we got exactly that."
