The club is split into two floors. Downstairs, Colin placed JBL Control 28 speakers and SB2 subs in the walk-in area, with more of both speakers at the far end of the bar. This section of the club is a heavy-duty wine bar, open every night of the week. It has a small dancefloor, lit with MAD Scans and MAD QStars, and space to accommodate mobile DJs. On the left of the downstairs bar is an NEC LCD projector and screen - also supplied by CP Sound - utilized for sports occasions and special events.
The amp room proved too tight a squeeze to wheel in any racks, so these were assembled inside instead. Amplification is all RSE - another CP Sound standard product - this being the latest in the PFX range, complete with enhanced front display. CP Sound also supplied a Cloud preamp zoner and a 110-CD rack player for background music.
Upstairs is the club area itself, Colin went to town with two Control 28s as infills at the end of the bar, and for the dancefloor itself, looking for a speaker with plenty of power, he chose JBL MS112s and MS125 subs. There’s also a Control 29 for the DJ monitor. CP also kitted out the DJ booth with an Allen & Heath Xone 62 mixer, a Denon DN-1800 twin-CD player and two Technics 1210 decks. Lighting on the main dancefloor is four MAD QScans and four MAD QColors, with a MAD1 controller.
