The new centre will launch with an open day for integrators, architects, end users and consultants
UK - Crestron is set to open its new experience centre at its UK headquarters in Cobham this summer. The new centre will launch with an open day for integrators, architects, end users and consultants looking to gain both information and training in the latest industry leading solutions for the residential market.

On 13 June, Crestron will open its doors to the experience centre and is extending an open invitation from 10am to 6pm to all customers. Along with refreshments being available throughout the day, the sales team will be on hand to guide visitors through the full range of Crestron products which, as part of the experience centre, will be on full display.

"Our HQ in Cobham is just a short hop from Junction 10 on the M25 and close to London. With our new centre we are offering our dealers and integrators a home-away-from-home to highlight working Crestron solutions to their own clients," says Phil Breitschadel, Crestron UK's sales manager. "The open day will provide an experience which aims to help customers understand the technology and how it is integral to what they do. It will also present dealers with a fantastic networking opportunity, bringing the Crestron experience in an interesting and innovative environment."

The Experience Centre will feature the very latest DigitalMedia solutions, Fusion energy management software, the latest mobile and single-gang control interfaces and much more. Plans for the site also include regular CEDIA accredited training courses, interdisciplinary workshops, networking events, dedicated consultant summits and, later this summer, the Crestron Residential Integration Awards presentation.

"Our vision for the Experience Centre is to take the products, initiatives and training that we provide at trade shows, such as ISE and InfoComm, and make these accessible to the UK customer base as-and-when they require it," said Robin van Meeuwen, VP of sales and marketing, Crestron International. "The launch on June 13 will be the first in a long line of events at our UK base and the space is already shaping up to be a flagship showcase of what Crestron do best."
