Headquartered in London, the company will combine its established operations in China with its new creative management team to grow the business and to deliver its 3D imaging and animation services to the European market for projects including the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

Its London-based creative team will ensure that the 2012 games truly reflect the personality of the city.

Crystal CG's creative designers and digital experts will provide digital imaging services to support a variety of applications across the London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games (LOCOG). The Crystal CG team will create images and animations to assist in the planning and communications around the 2012 games in a variety of areas including venues, games operations and sport presentation. They will also be involved in creating visuals for marketing, branding, design and logo creation for the games.

In addition to the 2012 Olympics, Crystal CG International's team also deliver creative digital visualisation services for the corporate, media, architecture, property and public sectors.

"Crystal CG's European operations open the company up to a wealth of new opportunities, broadening its geographic reach, and its creative talent," said non executive chairman, Michael Payne.
