Dave comments, "We have been developing the ideas for this new service for some time. We have started with a small and highly focussed team, but see this as a key growth area for the future. We're optimistic we'll see rapid expansion and broadening of the service offering in the future."
CT will now offer clients a bespoke technical solution that integrates and distributes video, audio, IT and comms signals over a reliable Fibre/IP network infrastructure.
Sid notes, "The new technology can massively increase the flexibility we offer in signal distribution architecture. We're moving away from the traditional point to point way of doing things where you lay a cable and that's where your signal ends up. Instead we're putting in a distributed infrastructure meaning that we can put in any signal at any point, and then pull it out at any other point. Ultimately, it will save our clients' money."
CT are already offering this new technology to clients, and are also supporting clients who use separate suppliers for different services. Working across corporate, exhibition, sport and entertainment clients throughout Europe and the Middle East the new team has responsibility for three main product and solution areas.
The first is signal transportation. MediorNet is one of CT's innovative new integration products that takes multiple audio, video, lighting signals into a single fibre and delivers those signals to any point on the Network. MediorNet runs alongside an IP infrastructure, or can be the transport mechanism, depending on the requirement.
Second is show communications. Here, CT offer clients full service show communications, including Matrix intercom, FreeSpeak II wireless systems and integrated Radio solutions. The third is delivering market leading event networks, specialising in high density WiFi and high bandwidth switch networks.
