CUK Audio advises that much will be revealed during the training sessions
UK - CUK Audio has announced a series of training seminars across the UK and Ireland, to coincide with the release of the new X Series amplifier platform from Powersoft.

The amplifier platform is designed with the most advanced power supply present in any power amplifier, says the company. This is combined with the most powerful DSP platform, an impressive power density of 44,000 Watts in just 2U of rack space, and Dante enabled versions. CUK Audio advises there is much more, which will be revealed during the training. The training will be centred on the X Series, but will include training on Powersoft's Armonia amplifier control and monitoring software platform.

CUK Audio's MD, Stuart Thomson says, "We can guarantee it won't be a boring death by PowerPoint. Based around the new Powersoft X Series amplifier platform, the sessions will give a thorough introduction to the new technologies involved and how they can be deployed in real life scenarios.

"The sessions also include some demos that other manufacturers wouldn't dare do!" Thomson continues, "For example have you ever wondered what happens if you put 480V into your amplifier? Or just 35V? Or have you ever tried powering a touring amp with DC? Or powered an amplifier from another amp? Or mixed a gig on an amp? All this, and additional madness, will take place in these sessions."

The seminar dates are: Monday, 16 March at Orbital Sound, London SW2; Wednesday, 18 March at the Renaissance Hotel, Manchester; Friday, 20 March at The Arches, Glasgow; Monday, 23 March at the Hilton Templepatrick, Belfast, and Wednesday, 25 March at the Morrison Hotel, Dublin.

Booking is via the CUK Audio website at www.cuk-audio.com
