The Netherlands / USA - The CyberHoist/InMotion 3D motion control system made a memorable entry to the North American market at the ETS-LDI show in Orlando recently, with two LDI Awards, headed by the prestigious Rigging Product of the Year Award.

CyberHoist / InMotion 3D was awarded Rigging Product of the Year, while the live demonstration earned system developer XLNT the Best Creative Use of Light Award for its booth, the work of lighting designer Michel Suk and motion control programmer Eric Berends. Both accolades follow the system's PLASA Award for Innovation at its European launch in London last year.

"2006 will be a fantastic year for CyberHoist in North America," says XLNT Advanced Technologies' executive sales manager Marc van der Wel, after the Awards and savouring the enthusiastic attendees' response. "The market is ready for a new and truly accessible way of providing sophisticated motion control, and, working with American partners, we intend to unlock a huge potential."

The U.S. introduction follows a summer and fall of stunning success with CyberHoist/InMotion 3D systems in action on some of this year's top-selling North American tours by Black Eyed Peas, Coldplay, Paul McCartney and Pearl Jam. The CyberHoist/InMotion 3D system offers a unique combination of precision movement and user-friendly programming, making it the world's most advanced motion control system for the entertainment industry. CyberHoist intelligent chain hoists are programmed and controlled in real time by the dedicated InMotion 3D operating system, running on the Apple platform.

The complete system is designed for moving small and large stage set elements around very smoothly, accurately and safely - lighting trusses, LED/video-walls, set elements, etc. Safety is implemented to the world's most stringent standards - DIN 56925 and BGV-C1, with double brakes, multiple safety limits, class 4 emergency stop system and much more. Because of all these abilities the systems is also very accessible for theaters, classical musical productions, TV shows and houses of worship, as it of course is for concert touring.

"These awards were an incredible surprise to all of us and we are delighted by the impact that CyberHoist's first appearances have already had on the American production community," adds Marc van der Wel. "Nothing else on the market comes close to its combination of smoothness, versatility, safety, ease of programming and setup, and cost effectiveness."We and our new US partners are now totally ready to provide North American designers and customers with more exciting and accessible motion control options than they have ever enjoyed before."
