The ST-1510 is a 3-way mid/high loudspeaker system designed for use with external amplification. The ST-1510 is ideal sound reinforcement applications where mid-range presence and pattern control are desired. The trapezoidal cabinet houses a 15" low frequency transducer, a 10" 'Bullet' mid-range device and an ND-10 compression driver. The ST-1510 incorporates Ancra rigging hardware. The frequency range of the ST-1510 goes from 50Hz-18kHz, allowing it to be used in applications that do not require bass reinforcement.
Constructed from Baltic Birch plywood and finished in a durable black paint, the cabinet weighs in at 63.5kg (140lb) and measures 88.5 x 60 x 65cm (35 x 23.5 x 25.5"). Neutrik NL-8 Speakon connectors are included for a safe and simple connection.
The ST-182 is high performance, subwoofer unit designed to provide low frequency reinforcement for the ST-1510. The front-loaded bass-reflex configuration and large enclosure volume offer a compelling bass response, say D.A.S.
Two 18GN cone transducers handle low frequency reproduction. These high power loudspeakers use a 4" edge-wound flat wire (EFW) voice coil and lightweight neodymium magnet assembly. The speakers feature the T.A.F. cooling scheme, which combines center pole piece, side slot and direct voice coil convection cooling for efficient heat evacuation.
Frequency range of the ST-182 is 40 Hz-140Hz, with a power handling capacity of 1,400W RMS. Dimensions of the ST-182 are 101 x 68 x 82.5 cm (40 x 27 x 32.5 in) and the Baltic Birch cabinet weighs 82kg (181lb). Four rear castors and eight steel-reinforced bar handles facilitate loading and unloading.
