D.A.S. Audio of America's new facility is a 25,000sq.ft free standing building and includes an adjacent lot that will enable the company to expand its operations in the future. Purchased in March 2013, the building underwent extensive remodelling so as to accommodate the special requirements of a sound reinforcement equipment manufacturer. Key to the new facility is the inclusion of an acoustically treated training room-enabling the company to provide the best possible instruction to both its sales force as well as both potential and existing clients.
Equally noteworthy, D.A.S. Audio's new building also features a large format demo room with a stage and video wall. With the addition of this new space, the company can accommodate a variety of performances that show the features and capabilities of its products in a real world setting. And the inclusion of the video wall facilitates a wide range of visual content - both instructional and of an artistic nature - to be displayed.
The company's new facility also includes an expansive warehouse area. With the ability to accommodate more product, D.A.S. Audio expects to minimize delivery time of new equipment and accessories to its customers.
D.A.S. Audio of America moved into its new headquarters on 5 September, 2013. On 20 November, the company hosted its grand opening celebration. The party included over 80 guests from the US, Caribbean, Central, and South American territories and included distributors, dealers, and engineers. Among the celebratory atmosphere, activities included a tour of the new facility, followed by simultaneous English / Spanish presentations (in separate rooms) of DASnet, D.A.S. Audio's audio management software, plus presentations of the Aero 40A, the company's flagship line array loudspeaker system. Later in the evening, the company held a closing cocktail party for all attendees at the Clevelander Hotel on South Beach where a Convert 15A system was on display.
Jaime Villegas, general manager of D.A.S. Audio of America, reflected on the new headquarters and the grand opening celebration, "We are really pleased to be in our new building. We've improved the office space for our employees and now have excellent facilities for training and demonstration purposes. With the increased warehouse space, we are able to stock more products and, in the process, expedite deliveries to our customers. Our grand opening party was a blast and was very well attended-with key people from all the areas that we serve. All of us at D.A.S. Audio of America are very pleased to be part of this dramatic step forward in the growth of our company."
The new address for D.A.S. Audio of America is: 6900 NW 52nd Street, Miami, FL 33166.
