The award recognizes the company's efforts in innovation, technological advancement and success of its product in the markets. As in previous years, voting for the finalists was open to the public through the website. Once the Internet voting was closed, a jury formed by independent industry professionals assembled to review the results and select one company for each of the categories. The jury voting was held in secret, before a public notary.
