Loudspeaker systems drawn from the dedicated installation White range were displayed, and demonstrations of the high quality sound achievable with these systems were made. The fully featured integration technology of their associated d&b amplifiers, with on-board control and processing, and network integration, was highlighted. Janko Ramuscak from the d&b Application Support team in Germany made a well received presentation on The secret of good sound system design.
The highlights for visitors were the d&b D12 and D6 amplifiers with their comprehensive DSP control functions for loudspeaker configuration and sophisticated protection. Besides the expected parameters of control, parametric EQ and delay, the addition of simple to use d&b R1 Remote control software makes integration into complex systems completely voice-evacuation system compliant.
Also on stand a left/right system of 4S and 5S loudspeakers from the xS-Series of the White range was demonstrated, with a single 18S-SUB. The 4S and 5S are lightweight passive 2-way loudspeakers, with a four and five inch LF driver respectively, coupled to a dome tweeter. The 18S-SUB with its highly engineered eighteen inch neodymium driver extends low end to 37 Hz.

The White range is exactly that, for integrators it brings a comprehensive set of solutions ideally suited to clients that demand the highest quality."
