The De Boer stand at last week's International Outdoor Event Expo
UK - Structure specialist De Boer has agreed an informal partnership with two industry-leading companies, broadening the range of services and products on offer to customers.

The agreement will see the Brackley-based business working in collaboration with Star Events Group, whose services include seating, staging and rigging, and with XG Group, a large-format printing expert - offering the opportunity for De Boer's clients to customise structures for specific shows, exhibitions or events.

The partnership was unveiled as the three companies jointly hosted a stand (pictured above) at IOEX, the International Outdoor Event Expo staged this week at London's ExCeL.

John Cochrane, De Boer's sales director - events, said, "This is a truly exciting collaboration for all three businesses. It enables De Boer to build on its industry-leading reputation in the temporary structure market while reinforcing the company's position as a total solutions provider."

He added: "As a company De Boer prides itself on its record for innovation, working in partnership with its clients and offering outstanding customer service. By linking with Star Events Group and XG Group, we can further strengthen the service we provide."

De Boer expects the informal partnership to enhance its role as a leading supplier of temporary structures, semi-permanent accommodation and long-term rental solutions. Its activities in the events sector include the supply of structures to exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, parties, celebrations, sports events and hospitality, product launches and music festivals.

The tie-up with Bedford-based Star Events Group will enable De Boer to offer industry-leading seating - suitable for use both inside and outside its structures. Star Events' portfolio includes more than 25,000 grandstand seats.

Steve Shaw, group sales director of Star Events Group, said, "The partnership with De Boer and XG Group gives us the opportunity to offer a one-stop-shop solution of temporary structures and grandstand seating. Together we can offer solutions rather than products."

Having operated for more than 30 years, Star Events Group's work includes staging and rigging, as well as consultancy services.

Meanwhile Brackley-based XG Group is one of the UK's leaders in large-format graphics production including sustainable direct-to-textile print. It works closely with agencies and event companies as their preferred one-stop solution and specialist graphics supplier.

The group's managing director Warren Verwey said, "We were delighted to be asked to partner De Boer and Star Events Group at this year's IOEX at ExCeL. We believe pooling resources and expertise allows us to offer the right products at the right price, ensuring great-looking events and happy clients."

He added: "By continually striving for perfection and stretching the boundaries within our industry XG Group delivers consistency across many processes on budget and on time."
