UK - DHA has picked up a design award from the International Association of Lighting Designers (IALD) for its work on the Magna Centre in Rotherham - the redundant steel works which was transformed into a visitor attraction devoted to science. The company created the acclaimed Electric Arc Furnace feature, as well as designing the architectural lighting for the Great Hall at the Centre. Co-director David Robertson accepted the award at the IALD ceremony in New York with joint winner Jonathan Speirs of Speirs & Major.
