As a company that specialises in equipping major concert tours and theatres he believes the Pro Tools support of Venue is of paramount importance. "Many theatres today, who are using Pro Tools as a production tool - as well as many PA companies - would like to use the Venue console as a live platform as well," he believes. At the same time the release of the D-Show Profile, with its smaller footprint, was "absolutely influential" in shaping his decision.
"Interest at the show in the D-Show and D-Show Profile has been phenomenal; besides the general interest, and some six or eight sales in the pipeline, we have also sold two consoles off the booth," he said.
Based in Bingen, the company's 15 personnel will be relocating to a new enlarged purpose-built facility next spring. In the meantime they will be providing D-Show training for sound engineers right across the country via a series of seminars, including a major event at the University of Hannover on April 24th.
Commented Mike Case: "I am delighted and relieved that our long search for a compatible distributor in Germany is now over. We couldn't have anyone better than Mega Audio representing us; the support that this company will bring to the product is exemplary and it is already well appreciated by the customer that there is finally a resource in Germany that they can call up."
